Membership of the Pinner Local History Society offers:
Regular Talks
Membership entitles you to free entry to all our talks. The Society's Talk Programme begins in September and ends in June. Talks are held once a month commencing at 8pm. See the latest list of talks.
Venue: Pinner Village Hall, Chapel Lane Car Park, HA5 1AA, at 8.00pm
Newsletter
Newsletters are issued free to members in Spring, Summer and Autumn. They contain the latest information on the activities of the society, reports of talks and outings, and details of the research carried out by members of the Society.
Email Updates
You can also choose to receive regular emails to remind you of when the talks are happening, whenever we have articles in local publications and other historical information concerning the area.
Research Group
The Research Group is an informal group comprising of a few members that meets regularly to discuss and research topics about the local area and its history. Each person then does their own individual research with the support of the group. Previous experience is useful but not essential. The other members of the group have varying experience and are happy to help or share the skills and knowledge they have. You can choose your own subject or ask for suggestions. If you have done any research on your family history you probably already have a lot of the skills we use!
