The next Pinner Local History Society talk is Hendon: London's First Aerodrome By Mark Amies on Thursday 9th October at 8pm Pinner Village Hall.

From a rough field used by a pioneer aviator to its time as a hub for daring pilots and stunt flyers, and on to its glory days as the home of Royal Air Force Pageants, Mark tells how Hendon was an essential part of British aviation history.
The meeting will be at 8.00pm, in The Pinner Village Hall, Chapel Lane Car Park, HA5 1AA
